What is Seniors, Revised? Seniors, Revised is a program created by The MacK in the Box Project and Kate Brown Photography to bring a variety to seniors in the Elko, NV area. Seniors will experience working with two photographers during one session. They will receive two perspectives and two different styles. |
What does a Seniors, Revised session include? The session includes a minimum of 25 edited images, unlimited wardrobe changes, a complimentary app to share with friends and family, web sized images for sharing on Facebook, a mini brag book for summer/fall sessions, and a discounted family session to be used before November. |
Do you charge for travel? There are no additional travel fees for sessions occurring in Lamoille, Spring Creek, Elko, Carlin and local ranches we shoot at most often. Other travel expenses will apply outside of these areas including but not limited to food, fuel, hotel and plane tickets. |
Do you retain the copyright for the photos? We absolutely do. As your professional photographer, we retain the copyright to all of your images. |
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client? Your Seniors, Revised session includes access to download the low resolution images (of the selected images you have purchased) so you may use them on all your favorite social networks, like Facebook, Instagram and email. |
Will my images be available for online viewing? Yes. First we create a unique and personal blog post about your Seniors, Revised session. Then you will have an online private gallery. |
Do you edit all of your photographs? Yes we do! Every image that you receive has been hand-edited, one at a time, to perfection! |
Do I receive the raw, unedited files? The raw, unedited files aren't available for viewing or purchase. The images selected for editing and final delivery reflect my very high standards and everything else isn't archived in the studio. |
Can I see the outtakes and all of the images that didn't make the “final cut”? We choose the very best images to deliver to you. If there are similar poses and you are laughing in one and serious in the other, we do make sure to include both. The images not selected aren't archived and therefore aren't available. |
When will my images be available to view and purchase? Seniors, Revised galleries will be available within 3-4 weeks of the scheduled session date. |
What if I decide to go with a different photographer? The creative fee is non-refundable. Sessions my be rescheduled due to an emergency, weather conditions, and depend on the availability of the photographers. |
How do I get the low-resolution images to download? Images from the low-resolution gallery will be available after purchase of selected images from the high-resolution gallery. Access to this gallery can take up to 48 business hours after purchase. |
Can I just screenshot the images? No. Not only does this violate copyright laws, it is also against our policy and is horrible quality. You will have access to download the low-resolution images for web sharing after purchase of selected images from you high-resolution gallery. |
Can I scan or take a picture of the images I purchased from my gallery or scan them? No. Not only does this violate copyright laws, it is also against our policy and is horrible quality. |

Please remember The MacK in the Box Project and Kate Brown Photography do not release the printing rights or the copyright to their images.
Copyright is a property right. Just because you buy a print does not mean you have purchased the copyright. Under the Federal Copyright Act of 1976, photographs are protected by copyright from the moment of creation. Photographers have the exclusive right to reproduce their photographs (right to control the making of copies). Unless you have permission from the photographer, you can’t copy, distribute (no scanning and sending them to others), publicly display (no putting them online), or create derivative works from photographs. It affects their income and the livelihood of their families. Even small levels of infringement—copying a photo without permission—can have a devastating impact on a photographer’s ability to make a living. Copyright infringements—reproducing photos without permission—can result in civil and criminal penalties.
Failure to comply with the above policies may result in termination of your Seniors, Revised session and galleries.
